What else to expect:
We are busiest in the spring and fall, but we stay busy throughout the summer. Typical summer hours are 40-48 per week, Monday to Friday. In the Spring and Fall, we’ll have to work a few Saturdays as well. We are a seasonal business and try to ensure we have every long weekend off, but this is sometimes not possible. We do slow down somewhat in August, so if you do want to enjoy some time off in the summer, that’s usually the best time for it.
The work is outdoors and very physically demanding, so if you enjoy soaking up sunlight and getting fit at the same time, why not get paid for it? In the summer heat, this is less about muscle and more about self-care; it’s important to stay hydrated and nourished and pace yourself throughout a long, hot day of work.
For the right candidates, year-round work is available. We do snow removal, projects, and training/certification to keep busy in the winter.
We take pride in:
Our customer satisfaction rating of 4.9 stars on Google
Our employee satisfaction rating of 5.0 stars on Glassdoor
We have more certified irrigation technicians than any other company in Calgary and the surrounding area.
Being an industry leader in underground sprinklers
Doing high-quality work thanks to high-quality training!
Wages are based on years of experience, a team-player attitude, and racking up those certifications!
As a Service Tech you can expect the following in your day to day operations:
Work independently to service irrigation systems
Oversee your own day, managing a schedule of around 5 appointments per day
Turning on Irrigation Systems in the Spring
Repairing Systems throughout the year
Recommending and performing upgrades to existing irrigation systems
